The Challenge I have issued a challenge. You can thank (blame, whatever) fkfic-l for giving me the idea; it's a tradition on that list. Now, to explain: a challenge is just that, a challenge for all authors to write a fic based on a certain set of parameters. This challenge, which I'm fondly referring to as the Zarbi Couples Challenge, has these guidelines: 1. This must be a story about a strange, unlikely, twisted, or otherwise bizarre (zarbi) pairing, whether it be "classic" (m/f), yaoi (m/m), or yuri (f/f). The feelings do not have to be of the same degree for both partners, or even requited at all. Tone is up to the author; it can be totally silly or very dark or somewhere in-between. This couple must seem zarbi to the author. For example, while many people think that a Lina/Sheifyl pairing is VERY zarbi, I don't, and therefore could not write about it. It cannot be a couple the author has already written about. For example, even if Steph thinks that an Amelia/Xelloss pairing is twisted, she couldn't write about that couple for the challenge as she's already written a (very good) story about this pair.
