Eris Eris. Usually she's thought of as a psychopathic villian with a creepy laugh. Not that she isn't; but she's more than just that. She's a woman who loved and lost and was driven mad by that loss. She also has an interesting taste in fashion.
I really like Eris. She's an obsessive psycho-bitch. Like me; kindred spirits, ne?

Eris and Rezo. Truly a tragic couple, much moreso than those losers Romeo & Juliet. Eris loved "Rezo-sama" deeply. Whether Rezo loved her back is debatable, but in the end, Rezo's obsession with curing his eyes—not to mention whatever control Shaburanigdu was weilding over the Red Priest—drove them apart.
Eris was unable to let him go, even after he died. A woman obsessed, she tried to resurrect the past by creating a copy of her beloved. Even when it became obvious that Kopii Rezo was not Akahoshi Rezo, Eris still tried to believe the pretty lie.
That pretty lie killed her. Her creation turned on her, killed her so that he could pursue his own obsession of surpassing the original Rezo.

What's in a name? In Greek mythology, Eris (Discordia to the Romans) is the goddess of strife and discord. Eris' name can be romanized either "Eris" or "Ellis." Personally, I use both names. "Ellis" is the enamoured girl who followed Rezo around, assisting him as he performed miracles. "Eris" is the psychotic woman who is scarred first by Rezo abadoning her to search for a cure (that's a family thing, right?), then by Rezo's death.
